A Bit Of This And A Bit Of That

Hi everyone,

Not much to report today.  I've been very busy getting an order ready for a shipment for (4) of my stenciled flour sack tea towels.  These have become very popular and I seem to be selling quite a lot of them.  I do a lot of custom orders on these and can stencil any combination of numbers you might want...birthday, address, lucky numbers.  I love stenciling them in a set of three numbers like this:

So, if you are looking for something Farmhouse Chic for your kitchen with a specific number just let me know and I would be happy to accommodate your request up to three numbers.

I'm going to be working on some small flowered print fabric tote bags in some lovely colors as soon as I can find a tutorial on a pattern that I like.  I'm a self-taught sewer and find it easier to view a tutorial instead of reading a pattern.  I am also a bit of a perfectionist and if it isn't just the way I think it should be, I have been known to completely rip all the seams out and start over! HA  A curse for sure!  Some of the fabric I will be using:

Sweet little Farmhouse Chic
Cabbage and Roses
Both bags will be lined with the solid fabric next to it.  I hope to be adding these to my shop soon.

That's pretty much it for today.  Hope you all have a great day!

  6. Kris,
That is a good idea to stencil lucky numbers on these towels. I read your dragonfly story, and it was such an enchanting one. Don't you just love when things happen around us at the most unexpected times? I see them as a glorious sign. Now, everytime I see a dragonfly, I will think of you.
