A Surprise Package and a Special Award

Gosh, I have been so busy as of late that I haven't had a chance to thank Demie of Paraphenalia  (HERE) for the lovely gift she sent to me.  She is a wonderful artist and writes the most inspiring blog I have ever read.  I always look forward to reading her quotes and stories and think she is a person who is wise beyond her young years.  Sometimes, you meet people who's writings and words resonate with you.  She is one such person and I feel like I have known her forever. Thank you sweet Demie for being YOU!

Beautiful don't you think?  You can view her blog and shop (HERE).  Thank you so much Demie for your kind and thoughtful gift. It means a lot to me.

She has also bestowed upon me the German Liebst Award.  Liebst in German means: sweetest, kindest, nicest, beloved, most beautiful.  I am blushing sheepishly now because I am not always the sweetest, kindest, nicest, beloved and most beautiful person.  We all have our days. LOL LOL I know I do for sure.

Anyway, the rules of this award is to thank the person who awarded you...Thank you Demie and give it to 5 other people who have less than 200 followers.  I always find this hard to do and tend to feel a bit guilty selecting specific people because I love all of my followers and think they are all worthy of the this award.  So, being the unorthodox person that I am and not one who always follows the rules, I bestow this award to everyone who is a follower of my blog or who follow me on Facebook.  To me, all of you are special and merit this award.

I also want to remind those of you who haven't entered my 100 post giveaway to leave a comment (HERE).  The giveaway ends November 15.

Well, that is it for now.  I am covered up with sewing projects that will soon be added to my shop.  Stay tuned.

100 Posts

My goodness!  I can't believe that I have reached the milestone of 100 posts!  Where has the time gone?  In honor of this milestone, I think a "Giveaway" is in order.  I personally love giveaways and for all of my loyal readers it is a chance for me to do something for you.

Lets have a drink first to discuss the details.

Champagne anyone?

How about a sweet to go with the Champagne?

YUMMY!

Does everyone have a drink and a sweet? Okay then, let me iron out the details.

First, leave a comment under this blog post.

Second, like La petite boutique de perles on Facebook and leave a comment letting me know under this giveaway.

Third, become a follower of my blog.  If you are already a follower, I'll know as I always keep track of my peeps. If you aren't leave another comment under this giveaway.

The Giveaway will end on midnight November 15  Central Time.

Now for the goodies:

Two lavender sachets - one in black linen and the other in cotton toile/striped
One bar of Lolla soap in flowering Willow Lotus

One set of (6) Notecards in Sepia
The Gift.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to visit my blog.  I have met so many wonderful bloggers out there and  appreciate all of your comments and feedback.

Agnes Shabby Chic

Every once in a while you run across a blog that is so beautiful that you just have to write about it and Agnes Shabby Chic is one of such blogs.  I don't remember how I found this beautiful blog but I'm glad I did.

Eva is the writer of this blog and she creates some of the most beautiful cards I have ever seen.  I thought they were so beautiful I purchased two of them and I would like to share these with you:
Coco Chanel
Antique Girl

Both Cards
These card's can be purchased in digital, postcard, or in large paper card form.  It is unusual in that the cards do not open to a blank card but rather are on one single sheet of the most beautiful paper.  They are very feminine and all images available are beautiful.  There is also a section for special occasions as well. You can visit Eva at Shabby Chic here:(Here)

Her blog background is so pretty and she has so many lovely posts to read including one about her dog, Habibi.  I don't think you'll want to miss visiting her at her blog.
