This Heritage Oak Tree is estimated to be over 250 years old. It was standing during the War Between the States as if a Sentry standing guard over Old St. Andrew's Bay.
That's a beautiful tree! We had my in-laws with us for the past week and my FIL was fascinated by some of the tree's we have here. Especially the Banyon tree's!
BTW, for some reason the name of your blog doesn't show up on my blog roll...just a small dot or period where the blog name should be!
Kris, That is amazing! There was a tree in my town that was over 100 years old that I photographed many years ago. Wow, how special this tree is being over 250 years old. You know, I have a thing for tree pictures. They are mysterious and beautiful to me. Thanks for sharing.
