Lavender Scented Sachets

Take a look at these fabrics and tell me what you think? I'm going to be making some sachets filled lavender that will be available in my shop.  I love lavender and will be filling these with Grosso lavender that is known for more essential oil in each bud, making the scent much stronger.

In keeping with my theme, "Simplicity is Comfort", I am using natural fabrics of 100% cotton, and linen and accessorizing these with antique buttons and hemp twine for hanging.

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint

What have we here?

Looks like someone is going to be busy...

Will you look at all these gorgeous chalk paint colors by Annie Sloan.  To be used alone,  mixed with another color, or one on top of another then waxed with a dark or clear coat of Annie Sloan waxes to enhance the colors.  Wax can be applied with a brush haphazardly or rubbed with a clean cloth.  Each application giving an entirely different look.

I have four of these to paint minus the lovely honey colored seat...

And one of these.  I will be sharing with you the "how to's of using Annie Sloan Chalk paint with step by step instructions and showing before and after pictures.  Using the color chart in the second photo, can you guess which of the two colors I will be using?  Click onto picture to enlarge it.

GRAND OPENING

Bonjour Everyone,

Today is the official grand opening of my Etsy shop, La peitite boutique de perles (The Little Shop Of Pearls). I have been working hard to make items that reflect my love of all things French, Belgium, and Swedish. My shop is a simple little shop with handmade items that are European inspired. If you have read my blog, or liked my Facebook page, you are aware that I have been very busy making new items to add...Stenciled Linen French Script Pillows, and linen guest towels.  Keep in mind that all the notecards and gift tags that are in my shop can be printed into either form...Notecards or gift tags, just let me know which you prefer.

To kick off my opening, I am having a giveaway and my dear friend Fifi Flowers of Fifi Flowers (Here) and Reading Is Fashionable (Here) blogs has offered to add some "goodies" to the giveaway as well.
