In my spare time, I am always finding new blogs that make me smile and what wouldn't make anyone smile more than these gorgeous little animals and dolls that are handmade by Marijike of Waar nostalgie en romantiek elkaar ontmoeten, Where Nostalgia and Romance Meet...
(HERE).
Marijike and her Aunt create these wonderful little animals and dolls among other items on her blog that she sells. They are full of whimsey and have a Victorian style to them. Each one of them are named and lovingly placed among her other dolls and animals to scooped up by someone who cannot resist the sweetness of these creations. She also makes their shoes, and uses antique lace in her clothes for them. When I visit her blog it makes me smile and I am in complete awe of her creativity. They almost become real to me. She has a beautiful sense of style and precision. Don't these little ones make you want to scoop them up and take them home? Here is just a sampling of her creations. Its like going to a different place in time.
