Whatever your style, Eclectic, Traditional, French Country, Bohemian, or Swedish, I believe that whenever you use different accessories or furniture pieces from any shop that you love and blend it with what you already have or intend to redo it is a reflection of you and what you love. It makes you unique and different from everybody else.
In closing this post, I wanted to leave you all with this wonderful quote from Friedrich Nietzsche which I found to be very inspiring for those of us who struggle with being and finding ourselves and what we love : "At bottom every man knows well enough that he is a unique being, only once on this earth; and by no extraordinary chance will such a marvelously picturesque piece of diversity in unity as he is, ever be put together a second time."
i love the pictures Kris! but the quote made me a bit sad... because of its reality and because for me this is a fact. this: only once. and i feel that sometimes we do waste our time here. now. as we are. for this one and only time.

ReplyDeleteWell what a quote - we really should make more of our individualism, following the herd seems such a modern thing, I like nothing better that reading biographies of true individuals and feel inspired for a while, then spoil it all by a need to conform - strange really England has always been a hotbed of quirky folk, we have got so boring lately!
