The Finished Product

Take a peek at the finished results of my kitchen chairs and table base....

This concludes my kitchen re-do project with Annie Sloan's paint and wax.  I will say this, after waiting overnight to buff the wax, the sheen on the chairs and base is gorgeous.  I've never seen anything so pretty. I am very pleased with how this project turned out and if you are up to the challenge (and it is a challenge ) it is well worth it.  My only suggestion would be to start off on something smaller like one chair instead of a complete set.  LOL

    Well Pat,

    I think for now I will stick to my sewing! LOL I will probably do something smaller next time. This was a big project for me first time around and I am still trying to get a feel for how this paint and wax works. Thanks so much for the complement.

    Kris! they look gorgeous! god you are a patient woman... i started painting the bookcage, just ordinary cream colored paint and poor R. had to finish it for me... i can see you did the same with the table... just perfect!!!

    it was kind of a big undertaking but look at how lovely it has turned out to be...
    love that you kept the top in the natural stained finish and painted the base and chairs...
