A Love Affair with 1940s Style
For as long as I can remember, I have loved the look of the style of clothes in the 1940s. The whole era was fascinating to me...the hair, clothes, hats, bags you name it I loved it. I thought it might be fun to show some of the styles via sewing patterns of the 40s era.

ReplyDeletewhat beautiful dresses they are! The fourth image remind me of some picture of my mother when she was still young wearing dresses like that. I like very much the fashion style of this decade. It is just very nice and so elegant!
Everytime I also feel sad to hear about all kinds of natural disaster such as wildfires, the prolonged drought, heavy storm, flood etc that more and more happened in recent years. It's just a disaster for the humans and the animals. Hoppefully, this does not happen too often in the future.
And I also very much hoppe, that we all are not affected!.
